GAME OF THE WEEK: Plymouth Whitemarsh 20, Perkiomen Valley 16 - It was a see-saw battle and at different times both teams felt in control. Clay Domine's field goal in fourth quarter gave the Vikings its first lead of the game and little time left for the Colonials to work. PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Chris Kane (LaSalle) - The Explorers 20-7 win over North Penn, the team that ended their season one win away from the state championship last year, saw new faces shine. First year starting quarterback Chris Kane started his senior year with a bang by throwing for 286 yards and three scores. BREAKOUT STARS
Laquille Nesbitt (Archbishop Wood) -  The seniors from last year's state title team are gone, but the Vikings goals do not changes and it is thanks to players like Laquille Nesbitt. Dan Murphy (Wissahickon) - The Wissahickon Trojans barely squeaked by William Tennent last season, but this year it was not that tense in the final seconds, or the second quarter for that matter.
