District One Class AAAA
(16) Upper Dublin at (1) Council Rock South - The Cardinals are tough, veteran team lead by senior quaterback/safety Andrew Derr. This game is going to be won by the defense though. The Hawks' option offense allows them to win games without completing a pass. Stop the run and you have a chance to pull off an upset no one would be expecting, minus coach Bret Stover.

(15) Pennsbury at (2) Abington - It's never fun to see a National Conference rival in the opening round of the playoffs. The Falcons have to feel relaxed knowing what they are getting into, but the Ghost should feel the same. They beat the Falcons 20-7 in the regular season and I'd be shock if seniors did not show up ready to go for this one.
Abington 28, William Tennent 0  - The Ghosts may have coughed up the top seed in the district, but showed they were ready for postseason by shutting out the Panthers.

(14) Neshaminy at (3) Unionville

(13) Central Bucks South at Plymouth-Whitemarsh (4) - Maybe the most intriguing match-up in the bracket. We have the Titans offense who has averaged around 40 points per game against the Colonial defense that allowed 65 points all season. The Colonials have not had to face an offense like this all season, but the difference here is they too have the ability to rack up points and the Titans defense is below average.
Plymouth-Whitemarsh 32, Norristown 0 - The Colonials defense was in full effect on Friday when they shut down the rival Eagles. Kavon Johnson, Mike Martina and company have been stellar all year.

(12) Ridley at (5) Garnet Valley

(11) North Penn at (6) West Chester Rustin - The Knights are really feeling the sting of non-league games. The losses to LaSalle ans St, Joseph's Prep did no good and the win over Lansdale Catholic is crippling. They still did not lose a league game all season and if you are looking for an upset this may be the place to look. Never count out a Dick Beck team.
North Penn 27, Pennridge 0 - The Knights showed they were playing some of their best football by making sure the Rams did not squeak into the playoffs. Senior quarterback Corey Ernst did get hurt in the first quarter, so they need to make sure he is ready to go against Rustin.

(10) Coatesville at (7) Spring-Ford - The Rams have been able to beat opponents in many ways this season. Sophomore running back Jarred Jones has a bright future and senior wide receiver Andrew Scanlan has stepped up his game every week.
Spring-Ford 42, Perk Valley 28 -  The Vikings did all they could to ruin the Rams position in the playoffs, but halftime deficit quickly got erased thanks to the arm of Hank Coyne.

(9) Downingtown East at (8) West Chester Henderson

District One Class AA
Springfield 41, Jenkintown 0 - The Spartans stayed perfect on the season with a dominant performance over the Drakes. It looks like they will get a home game against Imhotep Charter out of District 12.

District 12 Class AAAA
LaSalle 26, Father Judge 16 - Tim Wade and company ran all over Judge and look to be positioned as the top Class AAAA team from District 12. Wade set a school record with 290 rushing yards.

District 12 Class AAA
Archbishop Wood 55, Archbishop Carroll 6 - The Vikings are one step closer to a Philadelphia Catholic League title with the win over Carroll, but they have bigger goals in mind. Many believe the Vikings are the favorite to win the district and a state championship this season.
