GAME OF THE WEEK: Germantown Academy 7, The Hill School 6 - Junior Quarterback Hayes Nolte hit  Joe Taylor with a 28-yard strike in the second quarter and then let the defense do the rest. The Patriots put their helmets and pads to use and contained the Blues all afternoon. Finally with three minutes remaining the Blues scored, but a high snap on the extra point allowed the Patriots to hold on for the one-point win.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tom Garlick (Archbishop Wood) - The first loss in 15 weeks for the Vikings shook them up so much that coach Steve Devlin decided to shake up his starting lineup. He moved quarterback Chris Rahill out to wide receiver and introduced Frankford and the world to freshman Tom Garlick. The 6-foot-4 wide eyed signal caller wasted little time in showing off his ability. The freshman went 12-for-16 for 198 yards and three scores in the 35-6 win over the Pioneers.
