GAME OF THE WEEK: Saint Joe's Prep 24, LaSalle 16 - The majority of media outlets have determined LaSalle is the top high school football team this side of the Allegheny River, but on Saturday St. Joe's Prep had something to say about that. The Explorers turned the ball over six times are were unsuccessful at stopping Hawks' running back Olamide Zaccheaus, who rushed for 181 yards. This matchup is one we could see again in the state playoffs. CLICK HERE TO READ THE GAME STORY

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Alton Custus (Plymouth-Whitemarsh) Plymouth-Whitemarsh 42, Upper Merion 17 - With a lot of attention, and rightfully so, being directed toward the running tandem of Terry Brown and Corey Kelly the Colonials went to the air on Friday night. Alston Custus carved up the Upper Merion secondary. He pulled in 135 yards and two score in the big win, which keeps his club atop the Suburban One American Conference.
