GAME OF THE WEEK: LaSalle 28, West Catholic 26 - An ankle injury kept Player of the Year candidate Chris Kane out of the Philadelphia Catholic League showdown this week and it nearly almost derailed their hopes for a long postseason appearance. But without the senior quarterback, the Exlporers proved they can still get it done. Behind sophomore Jimmy Herron, who filled in for Kane under ceter ran for 89 yards and scored a touchdown to help hold off the Burrs.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Andrew Guckin (Archbishop Wood) - Archbishop Wood 56, Monsignor Bonner 35 - You cannot put up 56 points like the Vikings did this week without somebody finishing with monster stats. That monster day belonged to senior running back Andrew Guckin. He broke a school and state record (heled by Pat Devlin) with 347 yards on 20 carries and six touchdowns in the win.
