GAME OF THE WEEK: Souderton 28, Hatboro-Horsham 27 (OT)  - Both teams had a lot to prove here coming off league losses to Pennridge and Quakertown. The Indians needed to make it clear they are still a playoff team and the Hatters wanted it to be known one loss was not going to ruin their year. It took Indians' quarterback Tanner Allem finding his favorite target tight end Ry Yozallinas with 6 seconds left to send the game to overtime. Allem snuck in the game win in the end.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Norristown 38, Upper Moreland 28 Dan Cummings (Upper Moreland) - The Golden Bears are still searching for the first win of the season and while it has been frustrating at times it has not stopped them from competing. The Eagles were loaded with play makers and the young Bears kept it close. Sophomore quarterback Charlie Hooker (206, TD) found junior Cummings four times for 133 yards, including a 24 yard touchdown.

TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS
Wissahickon 34, Episcopal Academy 12 - Sometimes the schedule hands you a cake walk game, but you have make sure you take advantage of it. A loss to a team you are expected to beat could devastate a season. The Trojans scored early and often and made sure there was devastation on their sideline.

LaSalle 39, Neumann-Goretti 7 - The Explorers had too many weapons for the Saints and they sprinted out to a 27-0 lead early. The Explorers are one team where when they get a lead they never look back.

Springfield 33, Pennington 13 - It's time to take the Spartans as serious postseason contenders. They can run the ball with the best of them and Bok and West Catholic should look out in the District One AA playoffs.
