GAME OF THE WEEK: Pennridge 21, Central Bucks West 10  - The Rams did not take the lead until the two-minute warning of the fourth quarter. Kept out of the end zone all evening by the Bucks' defense, sophomore Mike Class refused to go down easy. Class scored from three-yards out and capped off the Rams' fifth consecutive win with a 73-yard run. In all, Class had 260 rushing yards and all three scores. A win over C.B. South next week could set up a game with North Penn for the conference title in two weeks.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: North Penn 37, Souderton 14  - Corey Ernst (North Penn) - If I were to announce my player of the year right now it's almost a no-brainer for me. While there have been many talented running backs, there have only been a few strong passers and none like the Knigts' senior leader. Ernst was at up to his old tricks again on Friday with 215 yards and three touchdowns to help his team improve to 5-0 in the Suburban One Continental Conference. Ernst has 1, 586 yards and a stellar touchdown-to-interception ratio of 19 scores to three picks.

PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN
Norristown 14, Cheltenham 7  - The Eagles do need some chips to fall their way to earn a spot in the District One playoffs, but a win over the Panthers was a step in the right direction.

Wissahickon 48, Upper Merion 18 - I don't care who it is, but when you beat a team by 30-points you are doing a lot of things right. The Trojans seem to be getting better every week under first year head coach Jeff Cappa and could be playing themselves into a playoff spot.

Upper Dublin 47, Upper Moreland 15 - The Cardinals kept pace with Wiss, Norristown, and Plymouth-Whitemarsh in the Suburban One American Conference by taking care of business against the winless Golden Bears. With the Colonials on a bye the top of the standings got bit clustered this week.
