To help pass the time between now and the start of the 2013 PIAA High School Football season I am going to be giving a look at two teams a day. I will give try to call out a few impact student athletes on offense, defense, as well as pinpoint one of the storylines as they open training camp.

Check this blog all season for scores, stats, and predictions, and players of the week...

Head Coach: Brian Hensel

Last year's record: 5-5 overall (3-4 in Suburban One Continental Conference)

Training Camp Question: While there will be plenty of new faces on offense this season the Bucks bring back three of their top four wide receivers from a season ago. Whether it is senior John Fitz surveying his options or someone else at quarterback, the trio of Mark Ciaudelli, Corey Schott and Joe Ramos are comforting to have. The three senior wideouts combined for 100 catches and 1053 yards in 2012. Hensel may not go to the air 30 times a game, but the Bucks are bound to make a few big plays in the passing game this season.

Offensive Standout: Sr. Mark Ciaudelli (WR)
Defensive Standout: So. Sebastian Silva (LB)
Breakout: Sr. John Fitz (QB)

Head Coach: Joe Gro

Last year's record: 8-4 overall (5-2 in Suburban One American Conference)

Training Camp Question: Sure, Joe Gro knows the ins and outs of the football playbook. But what makes him a great coach is his ability to get through to his players, all with different personalities. He manages young people and finds a way to put the Panthers in a position to win football games, sometimes when on paper outsiders are not so optimistic. Yes, Gro will give it to you straight on occasion, not known to sugarcoat anything, but he loves his players and he loves football. The Panthers have a chance to contend every season in the Suburban One American Conference under Gro.

Offensive Standout: Jr. Jack Gordon (OL)
Defensive Standout: Sr. Mark Heiman (DB)
Breakout: Jr. Greg Morris (RB)
