To help pass the time between now and the start of the 2013 PIAA High School Football season I am going to be giving a look at two teams a day. I will give try to call out a few impact student athletes on offense, defense, as well as pinpoint one of the storylines as they open training camp.

Check this blog all season for scores, stats, and predictions, and players of the week...

Head Coach: Matt Dence

Last year's record: 3-6 overall (0-5 in Inter-Ac)

Training Camp Question: The frame for a future stud quarterback has opened eyes ever since Hayes Nolte first lined up under center in Fort Washington, PA. Now he enters his final year and Nolte is still looking to put it all together. In the past we have see Nolte make more than one great throw, but he also has been hampered by hiccup on occasion. The hope is another year in head coach Matt Dence's offense should help the 6-foot-4, 225 pound pocket passer flourish. If Nolte can breakthrough in his final year with the Patriots he may find some college coaches knocking on his door and G.A. contenders in the Inter-Ac.

Offensive Standout: Sr. Myles Anthony (RB)
Defensive Standout: Sr. Patrick Cawley (LB)
Breakout: Sr. Hayes Nolte (QB)

Head Coach: Michael Kapusta

Last year's record: 1-11 overall (1-6 in Suburban One Continental Conference)

Training Camp Question: The former North Penn grad and assistant coach Michael Kapusta has his hands full with the Hatters. They struggled the past few seasons under Gary Pagliaro and are in major need of an uplifting experience. It is possible that one practice or one play could trigger energy and momentum in the right direction, but that will be Kapusta biggest challenge as he begins to build toward the future. He will face Norristown, the school he teaches at, in a Week One non-leauger and then twice against his Alma Matter. If the goal is playoffs in year one or two Kapusta's top job this season is to put his stamp on the program and re-energizing the school.

Offensive Standout: Sr. Luke Spahits (RB)
Defensive Standout: Jr. Jeff Panara (LB)
Breakout: Jr. Charlie Obrecht (RB/DB)
