To help pass the time between now and the start of the 2013 PIAA High School Football season I am going to be giving a look at two teams a day. I will give try to call out a few impact student athletes on offense, defense, as well as pinpoint one of the storylines as they open training camp.

Check this blog all season for scores, stats, and predictions, and players of the week...

Head Coach: Paul Lepre

Last year's record: 6-5 overall (5-4 in PAC-10)

Training Camp Question: For quarterback Brandon Bossard, the chains always seemed closer than they appeared for others players. But now his athleticism and speed is in the rear view mirror at Methacton it is up to this crop of seniors to share the leadership role. One man does not make the team, as the Warriors witness with the 6-5 record last season. While Bossard and his 21 touchdowns is off to Eastern Michigan, coach Lepre may be left with a larger collections of play-makers this season.

Offensive Standout: Sr. Dillon Alderfer (WR)
Defensive Standout: Sr. Michael Cassidy (LB)
Breakout: Sr. Kyle Lowery (QB/DB)

Head Coach: E.J. Smith

Last year's record: 1-10 overall (1-6 in Suburban One American Conference)

Training Camp Question: The Eagles' football roster was made up of a ton of pure athletes last season. But coach Smith hopes he s bringing back football players this fall. The rough and tough experiences of 2012 should benefit the blooming group of speedsters. The Suburban One American Conference is made up of hard-nosed defenses, but players like Sonny Brewer, Khalif Lyons and Curtis Pardea could wind up being a tough trio to tame.

Offensive Standout: Sr. Sonny Brewer (QB)
Defensive Standout: Sr. Curtis Pardea (CB)
Breakout: So. Rashon Lusane (SS)

Check back tomorrow for North Penn and Pennridge
